O Ritmo do Corpo is Back!
Capoeira Santa Fe is excited to announce our annual event, O Ritmo do Corpo! In its second iteration, we will focus on extending learning in Samba by collaborating with the amazing Odara Dance Ensemble. Participants will learn how to dance this fantastic rhythm as well as how to perform the drums that bring energy to it. Our special guest, Frank Leto, along with his dancers, will share their knowledge about this beautiful art form.
Additionally, Capoeira Santa Fe will host a workshop/warm-up and roda as the finale of the event.
As is customary at CSF, this event is free of charge, and everyone is welcome to attend! However, if you would like to donate to support our programs, please feel free to do so.
There are no age restrictions, but please keep in mind that the workshops are designed for ages 10 and up.

Capoeira Workshop/Warm-Up and Open Roda 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm
Our event will take place at the fantastic Santa Fe Teen Center, located at 6600 Valentine Way, Santa Fe, NM.
Please come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring your best energy to have fun and learn!

Please come and try out a class for free. If you want to train regularly join the club by making a monthly donation of $30 (adults) with your credit card below. Also, if you have a group of kids who wants to try Capoeira, schedule a workshop with us. Current drop-in rate for visitors from out-of town $10.
Learn the movements, music and cultural history of this fun Brazilian art form created originally by African slaves in their struggle for liberation! It is as much a martial art as a practice of movement and body awareness involving strength, flexibility, trickery and music. In the past decades, capoeira has gone out from Brazil, creating schools and groups all over the world. On the shoulders of the tradition, each mestre and each local group create their own unique cultural expression with it. We are looking forward to sharing ours with you!

All level classes starts at the age of 14 years old. Also, we will host Angola and self-defense classes with Nego Raca every last week of the month. Check our social media for information about it.
