Capoeira classes!​

Please come and try out a class for free. If you want to train regularly join the club by making a monthly donation of $40 (adults) with your credit card below. Also, if you have a group of kids who wants to try Capoeira, schedule a workshop with us. Current drop-in rate for visitors from out-of town $15.

Learn the movements, music and cultural history of this fun Brazilian art form created originally by African slaves in their struggle for liberation! It is as much a martial art as a practice of movement and body awareness involving strength, flexibility, trickery and music. In the past decades, capoeira has gone out from Brazil, creating schools and groups all over the world. On the shoulders of the tradition, each mestre and each local group create their own unique cultural expression with it. We are looking forward to sharing ours with you!

All level classes start at the age of 14 (exceptions may apply). Please review the calendar below for the respective days and sessions available in the month. Activities related to capoeira in Northern New Mexico will also be posted on the calendar.
